Optical Mirror
Optical Mirrors are used in optical instruments to reflect and direct light through highly polished plane or curved glass surfaces. These mirrors are treated with reflective optical coatings such as aluminium, silver, and gold. Optical Mirror substrates are made from low-expansion glass materials according to the required quality and application. Available materials include Borosilicate, Float Glass, BK7, Fused Silica, and Zerodur.
All of these optical mirror materials can be enhanced with dielectric coatings to improve reflective performance. Protective coatings can also be applied to provide resistance against environmental conditions.
We provide a wide range of precision optical mirrors for beam steering, beam folding, imaging, laser systems, interferometry, illumination, metrology, and other optical applications. Our optical mirrors are available in standard and custom designs, including flat mirrors, front surface mirrors, laser mirrors, broadband dielectric mirrors, metallic coated mirrors, concave mirrors, off-axis mirrors, hot and cold mirrors, infrared mirrors, and other specialty mirror types.
Whether you need a single prototype, medium-volume orders, or large-scale production, our extensive inventory of on-site raw materials enables us to respond quickly to your requirements while offering competitive pricing. We also offer custom optical mirrors manufactured according to your specific design requirements, including diameter, curvature, thickness, surface quality, and focal length specifications.
Our optical mirrors are designed to deliver stable reflection, high surface accuracy, and reliable optical performance across different wavelength ranges. They can be used to redirect light paths, improve system compactness, focus or collimate beams, separate wavelengths, or protect sensitive optical assemblies from unnecessary light loss.
Whether you need mirrors for visible imaging, UV applications, near-infrared systems, high-power laser equipment, or infrared optical instruments, we can provide suitable mirror substrates, coatings, and specifications according to your application requirements.
We offer custom optical mirrors using various substrate materials to match different optical, thermal, and mechanical requirements. For high-precision or high-stability applications, low expansion materials can be used to reduce thermal deformation. For UV and laser systems, fused silica is often selected because of its excellent transmission and thermal properties. For infrared or mechanically demanding applications, metal substrates can also be considered.
We provide different reflective coating options according to wavelength range, reflectivity target, angle of incidence, and operating environment. Common coating choices include:
· Protected aluminum coating for general broadband reflection
· Enhanced aluminum coating for improved visible reflectivity
· Protected silver coating for high reflectance in visible and near-infrared ranges
· Protected gold coating for infrared applications
· Dielectric high-reflective coating for laser and narrowband applications
· Broadband dielectric coating for wide spectral range applications
· UV-enhanced, NIR-enhanced, or IR-enhanced coatings for specific wavelength requirements
The coating can be customized based on your required wavelength, reflectivity, incident angle, polarization, laser damage threshold, and environmental durability.
