Optical assembly refers to the process of integrating optical components into a complete optical system or instrument through precise assembly methods, in accordance with specified technological and technical requirements.

This process encompasses multiple interrelated stages, including optical design, mechanical design, assembly procedures, and system-level adjustment and calibration. During assembly, the position and spacing of each component must be accurately controlled to ensure that the optical system's performance parameters meet the intended design specifications.
