APE 2026
This exhibition features special sections dedicated to various cutting-edge technologies, focusing on key breakthroughs and innovative applications in the fields of optoelectronics and semiconductors worldwide.
These sections bring together numerous international leading companies and industry resources to help attendees gain a deeper understanding of technological trends and market opportunities.
Semiconductor Exhibition Area: Semiconductor technology has become a crucial engine driving the development of modern society. Southeast Asia, serving as a key hub for semiconductor manufacturing and innovation globally, recorded an export value of USD 234 billion in 2023, accounting for 20% of the total global exports. Countries within the region have distinct roles within the supply chain: Singapore accounts for 10% of global semiconductor front-end R&D and design output, Malaysia holds 13% of the back-end manufacturing sector, Vietnam has rapidly emerged as a significant player in test and packaging services, while Thailand has driven semiconductor growth through strong demand in the automotive electronics and PCB industries. APE 2026 will feature a dedicated semiconductor exhibition area for the first time, promoting the deep integration of optoelectronics and semiconductors and facilitating companies’ entry into this strategic market in Southeast Asia.
Quantum Exhibition Area: As Singapore launches its National Quantum Strategy (NQS) in May 2024, research and development of quantum technology and ecosystem construction are accelerating. The APE 2026 Quantum Exhibition Area will showcase cutting-edge achievements in quantum computing, quantum communication and security, quantum precision measurement, and core components, creating a high-level platform for quantum technology exchange and cooperation and facilitating its application in fields such as communication, biomedicine, detection and measurement, and artificial intelligence.
Integrated Photonics Exhibition Area: The APE 2026 will feature a significant Integrated Photonics Exhibition Area, showcasing key products and solutions such as silicon photonic chips and photonic integrated circuits. This area will work in conjunction with the semiconductor exhibition area, connecting the entire value chain of “material-design-manufacture-packaging.” The exhibition area will delve into the innovative applications of photonic chip technology in data centers, telecommunications, healthcare, sensing, and quantum fields, thereby injecting “light” into industrial upgrading.
