1. Seabed terrain detection

Seabed topography detection is an important part of routine Marine survey, because understanding the seabed topography is of great significance to the assessment of Marine resources, the formulation of Marine management plan, and the construction of Marine scientific research plan. In order to obtain more accurate seabed topography, researchers have applied photoelectric technology to seabed topography detection. Photoelectric technology can calculate the topographic map of the ocean floor by measuring the speed of sound waves in the water at different frequencies and the sound waves emitted when reflected in the water. This method can obtain more accurate seafloor topographic map than the traditional method, and the positioning accuracy is higher, which greatly improves the efficiency of seafloor exploration.


2. Marine water quality monitoring

Marine water quality is a key factor affecting Marine environment and Marine ecological environment. Photoelectric technology can be applied to Marine water quality monitoring to monitor various water quality indicators, such as nutrient content in water, organic matter, dissolved oxygen concentration, water temperature and so on. Through photoelectric technology, a large number of data on Marine water quality can be obtained to help scientific researchers better understand the water quality of the ocean and develop a more scientific and more realistic protection plan.

Maritime traffic safety monitoring is an important means to ensure maritime traffic safety. Photoelectric technology can take pictures of the surrounding ocean through the camera on the ship, and use high-speed camera technology to monitor the wind, waves, currents and other conditions in the ocean in real time, while identifying vessels or animals and plants and their disturbances, thereby reducing the risk of accidents.
